How to List a Fellowship on a Resume

Qualifying for and landing a fellowship in the field you hope to work in is a task in and of itself. Listing that fellowship on your resume can be confusing and stressful if you don't know how to do it correctly. Fellowships can offer a great deal of experience in your chosen field, and highlighting that experience on your resume can help you land a great job. Highlighting the most important experience points is a great way to show potential employers what you gained from your fellowship.

Step 2

List the dates of the fellowship underneath the name. The month and year will suffice unless the fellowship lasted less than a couple months. If it was a short fellowship you should list the exact dates of the fellowship.
